Goblin-folk claim to be Indigenous to the Titan Depths, and they certainly seem well-adapted to life in and around the depths. They are always born as twins, although not necessarily identical ones, and the bond between the two is very strong even if some seem to bicker constantly. Starting Goblin-folk player characters must have their twin in the party. Goblin-folk are generally shorter than humans, slender and with long drawn faces. Their skin tones vary from pale bone, through yellow ochre to a deep leather colour. However occasionally Goblins can be found that reach as tall as six foot, or have blue or green hues to their skin. They might have wide, frog-like, narrow, long faces, or grow a great deal of hair. The reasons behind these aberrations aren’t clear, but Goblin-folk do not treat these odd looking relations any differently. Culturally, Goblin-folk around Xyphia and the Depths are either melancholic or mischievous. They have a loose definition of ownership, although that works both ways, and they are generous with their things as well as everyone else’s. Some seem to resent the other races, harking back to a time that probably never existed when they ruled the Depths. There certainly have been times of war between Goblins-folk and White Dwarves, although Goblin-folk are too chaotic and White Dwarfs too pragmatic for these to have been very serious. The Dim Town and Xyphia play host to large Goblin-folk populations, although over the millennia they have spread far and wide beyond the region.
